Which kind of coffee maker should you buy?
When it comes to what makes a good cup of coffee there isn’t a right answer. But luckily, no matter which way you make or take your coffee, there's a coffee machine or accessory on sale during Prime Big Deal Days. Of course, that doesn’t help you determine which coffee maker is right for you. We can’t cover all of the nuances here, but some major points to consider are whether you want a multi-cup coffee maker (i.e. something that brews into a carafe) or a single-serving machine — that could be something fancy like an espresso maker or something simple like pod coffee maker. From there, your inner barista can go as hi-tech or low-tech as you please, from fully automatic espresso machines — with tons of presets for everything from lattes and cappuccinos to iced coffee — to the most analog pour-over or French press set up.
We’ve tested hundreds of coffee products, so check out our in-depth reviews of espresso makers, drip coffee makers, single serve coffee makers, capsule coffee makers, French presses, and pour-over systems to help you decide.

Drip Coffee Maker Deals
You can find three of our top-tested drip coffee makers on sale right now. The Braun BrewSense programmable coffee maker reigns as our go-to budget pick—made even more affordable with at 44% off. It’s not as advanced as some other models and won’t quite produce a coffee shop-quality cup of joe, but it still makes a pleasant morning brew and can brew small amounts of coffee. If you do want something a little more advanced, look no further than any of the stylish machines from Café. They’ve got built-in grinders and precisely regulate water temperature. As far as a budget pick, we love this Ninja programmable coffee maker, which comes with a reusable metal mesh filter—so you never have to worry about running out.
Espresso Maker Deals
For those who want to splurge and take advantage of the espresso machine deals, you’ll find plenty of deals some high-quality machines. Bosch makes some of our favorite automatic espresso machines because of how well they mimic the quality of a manual espresso machine, without all the tinkering. Just press a button and instantly get your latte, cappuccino, or espresso. While our favorite budget pick from Breville isn’t currently on sale, the brand’s Barista Express and Barista Pro models are both available at a discount.
Single serve coffee maker deals
You won’t find any Keurig K-cup-specific machines on our list because we’ve yet to get a coffee out of one that’s up to snuff, but we think Nespresso, Bruvi, Ninja, Cuisinart, nd L’Or are great alternatives that actually deserve a place on your countertop. They’ll give you all the convenience of a single cup coffee maker that dispenses your coffee with the press of a button without sacrificing any quality.
French press, pour-over, and accessory deals
Maybe you’re not looking for another appliance when it comes to your coffee ritual, and instead you like to slow things down. For those who prefer the pour over or Aeropress life, we’ve got deals on French presses, Chemexes, and more. The Fellow Stagg EKG, one of our absolute favorite electric kettles to use for pour over coffee, is available at 20% off right now and we’d strongly advise taking advantage of that deal. Not only does it look nice, but the gooseneck on this kettle offers excellent pour control that will perfectly saturate your grounds.
If you make coffee on the go, it's hard to beat VSSL's Nest pour over kit, which comes with two mugs, a pour over dripper with a reusable filter, and a space to hold a matching hand-grinder—which is also on sale.
