Since I don’t have your model notebook, or know of anyone that has upgraded the wireless card in that model, I cannot confirm that your notebook has one or two antennas present. I failed to find working driver and warranty of my laptop is ending so I decided to replace the Wi-Fi adapter with one based on Intel It is pretty hard to take your notebook apart to replace the wlan card. My older Sony computer is not suffering the same problem as my newer HP – different hardware presumably the reason. Unfortunstely broadcm are no native Broadcom drivers at Broadcom site. It seems that this is because they can use the 5Ghz band. Mine seems to help.
See if updating the driver to the latest version helps N9S38EA I would appreciate any advice on a hardware update.

I would need to know the full model number or product number of your g notebook, in order to suggest a suitable hardware upgrade if one exists. I tried different drivers from HP site and all of them buggy. Microsoft Windows 10 bit.
The earlier versions of HP drivers has connection speed issues but newer version as BSOD once any torrect acitivity happes. There are at least half a dozen g model variations. The conncetion is fine when pluged into the router via the ethernet cable and the speed is good.
